The Botanical Garden of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv has been chosen for the clean-up by Plovdiv residents as part of the “Think Green” initiative.
Today, at noon, voting for the proposals submitted by Plovdiv residents for the “Think Green” initiative concluded. The Botanical Garden of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv received the most votes.
Over 200 people participated in the location voting, and with the votes of 70 of them, the Botanical Garden of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv was selected.
The enthusiasts from the Botanical Garden Restoration Group in Plovdiv, who have been organizing clean-up initiatives at the location since 2017, are the happiest about the choice made by Plovdiv residents.
The team from the “I Love Plovdiv” Association has already contacted the organizers from the Botanical Garden Restoration Group. They will visit the location tomorrow to identify the areas for clean-up.
The organizations expressed their immense gratitude to everyone who actively participated in voting, promoting, and supporting the initiative. Despite the event being just a few days away, the organizers assured us that they are preparing a plan for the most polluted areas and gathering all necessary materials, including gloves, trash bags, bottled water, and technical support.
Volunteers are only required to bring their willingness to help transform the Botanical Garden into a more pleasant and cleaner place in our city.
More information about the meeting point on Sunday will be available tomorrow.
