Volunteering initiatives for the restoration of the Botanical Garden in Plovdiv started exactly one year ago. Since then, every month the garden has become a magnet for amazing people who share a love for nature and a desire to bring it closer to us in an urban environment.

We will celebrate this occasion with a festive cleanup and barbecue. They will take place on October 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The organizers are recruiting volunteers eager to showcase their skills in the following activities:

– Master barbecue class
– Practical lesson: How to maintain order and cleanliness in the garden
– Competition: I plant bulbs the fastest
– Improvisation: Free-style dancing with/without musical accompaniment
– Creative workshop for the youngest
– Inspire me: Idea exchange for a new name and logo for the garden
– And more

In addition to organizing the anniversary cleanup, the competition for choosing a name and logo for the Botanical Garden, initiated by the Agricultural University of Plovdiv and Speedflow Bulgaria, is currently in full swing. Anyone inspired by the idea can participate and present their creative proposals to help create the visual identity of this important place in Plovdiv.
